Virginia Opera
Organized in 1974 by founding president Edythe C. Harrison, Virginia Opera was launched
with two productions in the Norfolk Center Theater. The Virginia Opera has three venues
with performances at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk, VA; the Landmark Theater in
Richmond, VA, and GMU Center for the Arts in Fairfax, VA.
Opera Lafayette
Opera Lafayette is an American period instrument ensemble dedicated to performances of 17th-
and 18th-century operas, particularly the French repertoire. Starting in January 2009, Opera
Lafayette will bring Operas to the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC
Washington Concert Opera
Washington Concert Opera is a fully professional concert opera company presenting internationally
acclaimed singers and professional musicians and choruses in unstaged versions of full-length operas.

The Reeb Hall Artists are a group of diverse individuals who live and work in the DC area.
These artists work in various media: drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, jewelry,
ceramics, photography, and installation. Most artists have been working in art for over 20
years.
The Metropolitan Opera
The Metropolitan Opera was founded in New York in 1883. The new Metropolitan Opera House,
opened at Lincoln Center in September of 1966. In the 2006-07 season, the company launched
"Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD" a series of performance transmissions shown live in high
definition (HD) in movie theaters around the world.
Just Clowning Around of Northern Virginia
Just Clowning Around of Northern Virginia (JCA) is a not for profit organization that provides clowns,
face painters, and balloon twisters for other nonprofit organizations in Northern Virginia / Washington,
DC area. The purpose of JCA is to promote, preserve and present the time-honored profession of clowning.
